The Centrifuge Module EC1 works tubewise and forms a perfect completion of the front-end automation process. The input area consists of a tray with 5 position racks and a loading capacity of up to 150 tubes. The tube type will be identified through Tube Type Identification via Cap Recognition by a camera. After detection the tube type will be selected and the tubes will be loaded in batches into the centrifuge buckets. The EC1 loads the buckets automatically into the centrifuge and unloads after centrifugation. Samples that do not be centrifuged are passed on to the output area or to the next
