The BD Macro-Vue™ RPR (Rapid Plasma Reagin) 18-mm Circle Card Tests and Tear-drop Tests are nontreponemal testing procedures for the serological detection of syphilis described in A Manual of Tests for Syphilis. The test techniques in this manual are the most widely used in the United States and have been thoroughly evaluated and standardized.
