The assay shows virtually no affect by the following interfering substances at indicated concentrations: Na+ 200 mM, NH4+ 0.5 mM, Ca2+ 5.0 mM, Mg2+ 5.0 mM, ascorbic acid 5.0 mM, and bilirubin 10 mg/dl, 1.5 mM Pi, 0.25 mM CuCl2, and 5 mM glucose.
