An enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the detection and semiquantitation
of anti-mitochondrial antibodies (AMA) in human serum. The presence
of AMA can be used as an adjunct to clinical and other laboratory findings in the
diagnosis of primary biliary cirrhosis.
