IRVINE, CA, May 2, 2002 – Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. (AMEX BIO and BIO.B), Quality Systems Division is pleased to announce the addition of Cortisol to Bio-Rad's Liquichek™ Urine Chemistry Control. Cortisol testing of urine specimens is useful in diagnosing Cushing's Syndrome, a hormonal disorder caused by excessive Cortisol production.
