The stent´s Tecoflex® polymer softens at body temperature while remembering" its shape and it has a chemically bonded wettable solution which becomes ultra-slippery when moistened. This results in a stent that is easy to place and provides patient comfort. A 360° helix kidney curl points away from the ureteral orifice, reducing trauma during removal. The stent is firm, yet flexible and is capable of negotiating difficult anatomy. Spiral drainage holes resist kinking and buckling.
