For removing cortical debris or viscoelastic substances while maintaining the chamber during ECCE. Irrigation and anterior chamber maintenance is provided by the irrigation cannula when attached to a gravity fluid source. Aspiration is provided through aspiration cannula when attached to suction. J shape and curved designs facilitate removal of cortical debris between 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock meridian.
