This control is designed to validate HDL cholesterol plus other major lipids, lipoproteins and apolipoprotein testing methods. This control is compatible with most major chemistry analyzers: AU™ Series, Cobas®, Dimension®, Hitachi®, Synchron® and Vitros®. HDL values are given for direct HDL methods and HDL precipitation methods: Dextran Sulfate 50,000 MW. Apolipoprotein A-1 and B values are established using an IFCC standardized immunoturbidimetric method. |
