BD recommends converting from the reusable BD Pronto™ Holder to the BD Vacutainer® One Use Holder (reference number 364815). This is in compliance with the OSHA Safety Health Information Bulletin Disposal of Contaminated Needles and Blood Tube Holders Used for Phlebotomy (SHIB 10-15-03) which recommends single use of blood tube holders.
